We believe in using business as a force for good. To us that means that in every element of our business, we look for ways to tread lightly on the planet, improve the health and wellness of our customers and those around us, and drive positive social change where we can.

Mid Hudson Works

We are proud partners of Mid Hudson Works – a non-profit organization that provides employment opportunities for people with disabilities. Located in New York’s Hudson Valley, Mid Hudson Works is responsible for the manufacture and assembly of The World’s Smallest Garden.

Teens For Food Justice

Teens For Food Justice provides urban farming education to food insecure children, as well as access to fresh healthy food for their communities. 1) They are amazing people doing amazing work, 2) we believe in giving back, 3) we recognize that there is a gap between the people who buy our products and those that need the most help when it comes to fighting food insecurity, and 4) we have a bold vision about what the future of food will look like, and we can learn a lot from Teens For Food Justice about maximizing our social impact.

Trees for the Future

As part of our Earth Day 2018 campaign, $2 from every kit sold during the month of April was donated to Trees For The Future. Together, Urban Leaf supporters helped make a $400 donation—that’s enough for 4,000 trees!
