    The ingarden unit is a sleek addition to your kitchen countertop, and with a range of color options available you are sure to find the right one for your space. Although micorgreens can be grown without a grow light, in dark places (or the middle of winter) the added grow light can assist with

    We recommend replacing your wicks around every 3-5 harvests.

    The main thing that will tell you your wicks needs replacing are:

    • there's a lot of old roots strangling the wicks
    • seed pads are not getting enough moisture
    • the wicks seem to be dryer & compacted (vs their original fluffiness)

    No! Similar to humans, plants need rest to grow and manage their nutritional compositions. In nature, this process occurs at night since no sunlight stimulates photosynthesis, which is the plant’s natural growth mechanism. The lack of stimuli enables growing processes to happen.

    Therefore, after studying the growth and biochemical processes of microgreens, we calibrated Ingarden to facilitate the optimal balance between photosynthesis and rest. this translates into 12 hours of light and 12 hours of darkness.

    Yes! The lighting intensity is adjustable. We recommend using the brightest light setting for the most optimal microgreen growth, but your microgreens will grow regardless of the strength of the light.

    The LED system emits all light wavelengths which helps to boost the photosynthesis process and ensure the microgreens receive a perfectly balanced spectrum of light while also being highly energy efficient. This is what enables your greens to grow into tiny superfoods!

    Turning off the light does not directly harm the health of your greens (under the assumption that normal room light is present), but it could impact the yield of your batch negatively. We recommend following the programmed lighting schedule for your best-growing success.

    The seed pads are custom-made for Ingarden and designed for optimal water absorption to guarantee growth. Other seed pads will neither fit nor work as effectively.

    Love the set up not so sure about the seed pads

    Great look, the light and timing works very well. Only disappointment was that only 1.5 of the seed pads grew. I will give it another try but am also excited to use my own seed prep

    Great kit for beginners!

    Beautiful micro green kit! Love that it can be out in the kitchen and not be an eye sore.Set up is a synch, just follow the directions, although it's really pretty self explanatory. The hydroponic watering system is nice, because I always seem to forget to water daily and with this you don't have too. I also like the light system. Although you don't really need it with micro greens, I do how they seem to be more dense and compact, rather than the leggy, spindly greens I get when the greens don't have a direct light source.The pads are a bit pricey, BUT I do appreciate that they are biodegradable.Overall, there are cheaper alternatives out there, but I think this company and product is a good one to support.
